Tentative Class Addition and Restructuring, Summer 2017

 

Level 0:  Intro to Belly Dance Four-Week Sessions: Thursdays in January and July, Seeking Solace Yoga

This is where your journey in belly dance begins!

Learn the basics of belly dance:  isolations, posture and common travel steps. After completion of one session, students are ready to join the Monday night Beginner’s Class.

 

Level I: Beginner’s Technique and Drills: Mondays at 6:30, Seeking Solace Yoga

This level is for students who have taken the intro session or have not yet mastered basic isolations.

In this class, we drill isolations to perfection, travel around the room, and introduce veil work.

  • Students at this level will learn an original choreography to perform at the fall Haflaween. Performance is always optional! Students tend to be comfortable at this level for 6 months to 2 years.
