Navsheen singhal biography for kids

Navsheen Singhal, a student from Hisar in Haryana, has topped the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) MBBS entrance examination, the results of which were declared on Thursday.

AIIMS, Delhi conducted the examination for 672 MBBS seats in Delhi and six other newly set up AIIMS located in Rishikesh, Jodhpur, Bhopal, Raipur, Patna and Bhubaneshwar.

Nearly three lakh students had appeared in the online examination held on June 1.

Speaking to Hindustan Times on phone, 18-year-old Singhal said on Friday staying in the society of medical professionals since his childhood motivated him to opt for this challenging profession.

He wants to be a super-specialised surgeon.

Singhal’s father Dr Kailash Singhal is a leading cardiologist and runs a private hospital at Model Town locality of Hisar city and his mother Deepa Singhal is the chief medical officer at the Hisar-based Employee’s State Insurance (ESI) Corporation
